MKimonos White Palladium Weave Gi

This gi has been a long time in the making. My brother Marcelo had I have always extolled the virtues of the double weave. I do not mean the kind of double weave you see advertised by other kimono manufacturers today. I mean an ultra-heavy double weave. In addition to being difficult for your opponent to manipulate, a true double weave can also be difficult for your opponent to even grip! I have wanted to bring back one of our double weave designs for quite some time. While there is a trend in the community now for lighter and lighter weaves, I think there is something to be said for a stand alone double weave. So with that in mind, I have created the Palladium weave. It combines the competition superiority of the true double weave with the comfort of the Gold weave. Think of it as a Gold weave gi on steroids!
When I had the first sample of the gi made, I had my husband try it out at the academy. His first words back to me were, "This gi is not for the feint of heart!". While he noticed the immediate benefits of the double weave weight, it is more hot to train in than most people have experienced before with other gi's. So if you are looking for a superior competition gi and are willing to put up with a little more sweat, I think this could be a great gi for you.
The new design features a return to the classic Blue M and straight JIU-JITSU logo. This is one of our most requested embroidery combinations. The top contains proprietary revisions to two reinforcement points while maintaining the traditional, clean MKimonos lines. The pants feature three enhancements to the reinforcements, new quadruple stitching on the cuffs and a new, corded drawstring.
